1. Information We Collect

a) Account / Sign-in Information

• Mobile phone number. When you sign in, you enter your phone number and a one-time password (OTP). Your phone number and OTP are sent to our authentication server to verify your identity. On success, we store an authentication token and your phone number on your device to keep you signed in. Your phone number is also stored on our server as your account identifier.

b) Content You Create in the App

• Clothing items — type, colour, category, description (t-shirts, jeans, salwars, kurtis, saris, gym clothes)
• Jewellery items — descriptions and details you enter (rings, chains, bracelets)
• Photos you capture or select for your items and outfits
• Bills and purchase records — vendor details, amounts, discount and warranty information, receipt images
• Outfits you create, including the occasions and dates you associate with them
• Reminders — titles, notes, dates and times for events, festivals and clothing maintenance

c) Device Permissions

• Camera — to photograph your clothing, jewellery and bills. Photos are used only inside the app and in your account.
• Photos / Gallery — to let you pick existing images from your device for items, outfits and receipts. We access only the images you select.
• Notifications — to show your reminder alerts. Reminders are scheduled on your device.

The app also uses internet access to sign you in and sync your data.

d) Technical Information

When the app communicates with our servers we may process your IP address, app version, device model and operating system version, plus basic error and diagnostic logs, to operate the service and fix problems.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers.

2. How We Use Information

• To sign you in and keep your session active (phone number + OTP + token)
• To store, sync and display your wardrobe, jewellery, outfits, bills and reminders in your account
• To make your data available when you reinstall the app or sign in on another device
• To show local notifications and reminders
• To provide support, diagnose technical issues, and protect against unauthorised access and misuse
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

• On your device: your authentication token, phone number, cached content and photos, and scheduled reminders are kept in the app's private storage.
• On our servers: your account record and the content you create — items, jewellery, outfits, bills, reminders and the images attached to them — are stored in your account on infrastructure operated or contracted by Secure Matrix Pvt. Ltd.
• Data in transit is sent over HTTPS.

4. A Note on Sensitive Content

Digital Wardrobe can hold records of valuables such as jewellery, and purchase bills that show what you bought, from whom and for how much. We treat this as private personal property information. It is stored only in your own account, is never sold, is never shared for marketing, and is not used to build advertising or credit profiles of any kind. Access on our side is limited to authorised personnel and only where needed to operate the service or respond to a support request from you.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information is shared only:

• With our SMS/OTP provider and authentication server, to deliver and verify the one-time password for sign-in.
• With our hosting and infrastructure providers, who store and process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and who may not use it for their own purposes.
• When required by law, to comply with a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety or security of our users or the company.
• In a business transfer — if Secure Matrix is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your data may transfer to the successor entity, which remains bound by this policy.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

• Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active, so your wardrobe remains available to you.
• In-app deletion: items, jewellery, bills, outfits and reminders you delete in the app are removed from your account. Backups and logs may retain a copy for a short period before being overwritten.
• Account deletion: to delete your account, your phone number and all associated content from our servers, email us at info@sec-matrix.com from the number/account you wish to delete, or use the in-app delete-account option where available. We will process verified requests within a reasonable period, and no later than 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
• On-device data is removed when you delete it in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: all network requests use HTTPS, on-device data is kept in the app's private storage, sign-in uses one-time passwords rather than stored passwords, and server access is restricted to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach affecting your personal data where required by law.

8. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Secure Matrix Pvt. Ltd. is based in India and your data may be stored and processed in India or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where such transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to receive appropriate protection.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. You can view and edit most of your data directly in the app; for anything else, contact us at info@sec-matrix.com. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date, and material changes will be notified in the app where appropriate. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
